Our Volga left the assembly line in Belgium in 1972 and my father bought in 1973. The car is ours for more than 30 years now, we all share wonderfull memories from trips all over the country. The engine is twice overhauled and as a whole runs smoothly and without much problems. There are minor troubles with some ageing parts as the rubber gaskets and parts made of plastic, but as petrol M24 Volgas are much widespread even nowadays, and keeping in mind the fact that just the engine is different from the Russian-made cars, there is no problem finding spare parts. The diesel Volgas are pretty rare cars, and combined with the sentimental value of the car, our Volga is a very dear car indeed.
